Message from Top Management

With the feelings that have been nurtured over the past 100 years, We will continue to transmit the “splendor of wood culture”.

Nurture the forest, make the most of trees” is the motto of Shingu Shoko, which has been involved in forestry and production and processing since 1906. These words express our “passion for trees,” which has been nurtured over more than a century. In our business dealings with other countries, we have realized the immeasurable environmental value of lumber and its potential as a superior material. In this context, we hope to continue to be a company that can always convey to our customers the “splendor of wood culture.

In the 1950s, we were the first company in Japan to introduce chainsaws, ahead of our competitors. Today, with the same impact, we are contributing to strengthening the market competitiveness of domestic timber and creating new demand by introducing “advanced forestry machinery” that contributes to the rationalization of forestry management in recent years.

In the housing industry, which is the main source of demand for lumber (as future stock), various structural and interior materials manufactured at our factories are widely used. As a manufacturer and provider of products indispensable for sophisticated homes, we are proud of our significant contribution to daily comfort and the formation of emotionally rich families.
Furthermore, the effective use of thinned wood and the production of firewood from our company-owned forests are indispensable for urban greening and coexistence with nature in the nearby mountain villages. As the exclusive Japanese distributor for wood stove imports, we are also committed to providing a stable supply of firewood.
We thank our customers for their continued patronage, and we will continue to put customer satisfaction first in all of our actions.
