Our Lumber Department works to ensure a stable, sustainable supply of lumber, imported from all over the world to meet the specific demands of our domestic clients. We also manufacture wood products that incorporate feedback from of our broad customer base. Currently, we are working to grow beyond the Japanese market and expand our sales channels worldwide.
Many years ago, Shingu Shoko was the first company to import and sell chainsaws in the Japanese market. Since then, we have expanded our operations to include all kinds of tree-related products, from mowing equipment to wood-burning stoves. Our goal is to make our customers' lives easier with machines that preserve our forests while reducing labor, boosting efficiency, and improving safety.
Shingu Shoko manages 5,000 hectares of forest across Japan, and has always worked to protect this valuable domestic resource. As a result of our efforts, the company proudly received its Responsible Forest Management from the Forest Stewardship Council in 2005. We are committed to ongoing protection for our precious ecosystems and landscapes through sensitive forest management.
We provide the comfortable materials that make a comfortable home, and Shingu lumber is being used in a wide variety of applications. Our overarching mission is to foster harmonious interaction between people and trees through the creation of
ideal residential spaces.
